...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Kaufman, Van Zandt
and central Rains Counties through 330 PM CDT...

At 246 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Edgewood to near Cottonwood. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Wills Point, Edgewood, Kemp, Fruitvale, Grays Prairie, and 
  Cottonwood around 250 PM CDT.
  Canton and Cedar Creek Reservoir around 300 PM CDT.
  Grand Saline and Mabank around 305 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Whitton, Ola, Alsa,
Elmo, Tolosa, Roddy, Jackson, Oakland, Jones, and Rosser.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 501 and 536.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
