...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CARBON COUNTY THROUGH 630 PM
MDT...

At 543 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles northwest of Dome Rock to near Fort
Steele Historic Site to 12 miles south of Battle Creek Campground.
Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rawlins, Saratoga, Hanna, Encampment, Sinclair, Dixon, Riverside,
Lamont, Fort Steele Historic Site, Battle Lake, Kortes Dam, High
Savery Reservoir, Muddy Gap, Haskins Creek Campground, Battle Pass,
Teton Reservoir, Shively Field, Corral Creek Campground, Seminoe Dam,
and Odd Fellows Campground.

This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 200 and
251.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Cheyenne.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
south central Wyoming.
