  Knox County in southwestern Indiana...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 203 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near West Salem,
  or 13 miles northwest of Mount Carmel, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Vincennes, Bicknell, Oaktown, Monroe City, Wheatland, Bruceville,
  Sandborn, Edwardsport, Decker, Vincennes University, and
  Freelandville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
