* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Chippewa County in west central Minnesota...
  Southeastern Swift County in west central Minnesota...
  Central Kandiyohi County in central Minnesota...

* Until 515 PM CDT.

* At 425 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Kerkhoven, or
  9 miles northwest of Willmar, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Willmar, New London, Spicer, Atwater, Kerkhoven, Green Lake,
  Pennock, Kandiyohi, Willmar Airport, Sibley State Park, and Priam.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 60 and 88.
 U.S. Highway 8 in Minnesota near mile marker 6.
 U.S. Highway 71 between mile markers 119 and 139.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
