* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Dallas County in southwestern Missouri...
  Polk County in southwestern Missouri...
  Central Lawrence County in southwestern Missouri...
  Greene County in southwestern Missouri...
  Southeastern Dade County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 1245 AM CDT.

* At 1156 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Greenfield to near Miller to near Pierce City,
  moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Northwestern Springfield, Republic, Bolivar, Stockton Lake,
  Willard, Mount Vernon, Ash Grove, Fair Grove, Greenfield, Lockwood,
  Miller, Walnut Grove, Pleasant Hope, Morrisville, Everton,
  Brookline, Dadeville, Stotts City, Halfway, and Halltown.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 37 and 79.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
