  East central Columbus County in southeastern North Carolina...

* Until 1130 AM EDT.

* At 1102 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Shallotte,
  moving north at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Supply around 1110 AM EDT.
  Honey Island around 1115 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Sandy
Creek and Brunswick Novant Medical Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
