  Northeastern Oconee County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 840 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of
  Walhalla, or 4 miles northwest of Salem, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Salem, Devils Fork State Park, Keowee Toxaway State Park, Jocassee
  Gorges, Oconee State Park, Lake Jocassee, Sunset, Bad Creek,
  Sassafras Mountain, and Nine Times.
