* At 223 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Catlettsburg,
  or near Ashland, moving northwest at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Huntington, Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Chesapeake, Proctorville,
  Lake Vesuvius, Barboursville, Kenova, Catlettsburg, Ceredo,
  Flatwoods, South Point, Russell, Vernon, Waterloo, Raceland,
  Worthington, Burlington, and Wurtland.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 187 and 191.
 Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 1 and 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
