The National Weather Service in Des Moines  has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Lucas County in south central Iowa...
  Southwestern Monroe County in south central Iowa...
  Northern Wayne County in south central Iowa...

* Until 430 AM CDT.

* At 359 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Humeston, or 7 miles northwest of Corydon, moving
  northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Millerton around 405 AM CDT.
  Rathbun Lake and Russell around 420 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Millerton, Russell, Melrose, Red Haw Lake State Park, and Humeston.
