The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Cook County in northeastern Minnesota...
  East central Lake County in northeastern Minnesota...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 609 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Dumbbell Lake, or 33 miles southeast of Ely,
  moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Clear Lake around 615 PM CDT.
  Temperance River State Park around 625 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Taconite Harbor and Sugar Loaf Cove.
