The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Union County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 345 PM EST.
    
* At 308 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 14 miles east of Lancaster, or 5 miles east of Buford,
  moving northeast at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Marshville around 330 PM EST.

Other locations impacted by this dangerous thunderstorm include
Trinity.
