  Southwestern Tompkins County in central New York...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 408 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Millport, or near Montour Falls, moving east at 35
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Montour Falls, Odessa, and Catharine around 415 PM EDT.
  Cayuta around 420 PM EDT.
  Newfield around 430 PM EDT.
